Hello i am David Rohner!

I am a filmmaker, cinematographer and a director of documentary and narrative films.

I graduated at the University of Art and Design, Saar College of Fine Arts Germany (Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken, Deutschland) and worked on a wide spectrum of art, light and especially motion picture projects. I specialised in filmmaking.

I have gained plenty experience while doing what i love. I directed, shot and edited the full length documentary "Als die Kohle verschwand" (2021), which is an in depth look at the former coal mining in my home region Saarland Germany. You can watch the film on Amazon Prime Video and YouTube!

I was producer and the director of photography for the feature "Hinter dem Eisernen Horizont" (2024), which is a humorous comedy, western and science fiction adventure film about the android E-Lena and her journey through time to find her creator. The film released in 2024!
